The 2026 Go Bowling at The Glen at Watkins Glen International Raceway

We travel this weekend to the beautiful lakes of New York, and the chaotic twists and turns of the Glen. It's a road course, so we know that SVG is going to be a strong contender, but don't leave out the other good road course drivers including Chris Buescher, AJ Allmendinger, and Ty Gibbs. We'll see who can find themselves at the top of the scoreboard today.

Like it seems I say in all my articles these days, nothing happened in stage 1. SVG pulled out ahead of everybody after starting on pole but would lose the stage to Ross Chastain after him and a few other drivers did not flip the stage.

In stage 2, SVG found his way to front again, with his teammate Connor Zilisch close behind. The yellow flag waved for the first time when a huge gust of wind came through and caused a tent to be blown from the spectator area onto the track. NASCAR has seen a lot of first, hasn't it? SVG ended up taking home the stage 2 win.

Ever seen something that just doesn't make sense? Well, this race was one of those things. SVG was in the lead but had to come into the pits for fuel. When he came out, he was a good distance behind the leader of Ty Gibbs, around 20 seconds. Then, he somehow caught up to the duo of Ty Gibbs and Connor Zilisch, who were fighting for the lead. Then what happened? He passed both of them and won of course.

Is it funny I'm not surprised?
