Alright, next up we have Atlanta, which was pretty entertaining, but of course Chase Elliott got caught up in another wreck. Furthermore, we had another crazy finish between Christopher Bell, Carson Hocevar, and Kyle Larson. How about we look into the details.
Our first caution was for stage one, which Josh Berry won. Then our second caution was on lap 83, when Ty Dillon spun out on his own in turn 4, then blew a right front tire. I feel like it's always insane when they blow a tire, but trust me, blowing an engine is much worse.
Then our third caution was on lap 103 for Erik Jones spinning out, and then got a flat left rear tire. When they were coming out of turn 2, he came down on Chris Buescher, and Buescher's car gave Jones a little tap in the left rear, and that was the end of that.
Well, of course Chase Elliott got in the wall and spun out in front of the field on lap 151. Again. Then he got hit by Brad Keselowski, so both of their days were over. Fortunately, everybody else was able to avoid the duo of spinning cars.
Then we had a huge pile up on lap 185, Daniel Suarez, Ty Gibbs, and Todd Gilliand tried to squeeze it three wide, but it just didn't work. So Suarez got into the wall, which he ricocheted off of, right down into Gibbs, causing Suarez to spin. So everybody had nowhere to go, and many cars had damage. Cole Custer was stuck against the inside wall, Gibbs was doing the crab walk, you get the idea.
And then, the finish. Christopher Bell and Kyle Larson were racing side by side, then Carson Hocevar gave Bell a little shove, Bell opened the door, and Hocevar took the middle. So Bell, Hocevar, and Kyle Larson were racing three wide, and then, we saw the yellow flag. Bell had took the win.
So we had another thrilling finish, and I think this year is starting up pretty well, but the question is, can Bell do it again? It's got other articles right down there! Don't just sit there! Read the next one!
