Arrghh...all the tracks we come to seem to be tracks that Denny Hamlin is good at. Are we seriously going to have another threepeat? Anyway, Kyle Larson finished second in friday's truck race, won saturday's Xfinity race, and today? Well, your about to find out.
The first caution was on lap 178 for Shane Van Gisbergen spinning. He went to the inside of Cody Ware and got into the side of his car, causing SVG to spin. He avoided major damage, and so did Ware.
When people were pitting, John Hunter Nemechek's lug nut fell off of his tire. Then, his tire came off and ran into Daniel Suarez's car. After that I thought maybe Suarez could just use that tire because it came off of Nemechek's car after he pitted, so it must had been a new tire.
Alex Bowman had started on the pole, and later in the race radioed to his team and told them he had an engine issue. FOX's Clint Bowyer stated he blew a cylinder.
Kyle Larson had led most of the laps, and was close to the win. He had led around 90% of the laps in the fall race last season. Not only that, but in 2021, when Elliott and Harvick had their disagreement, Larson was right behind them. Also, now we can say he won in 2025.
Yippee! We don't have to worry about having another threepeat. This season, though, whenever Larson did all three series, he won at least two of the three races. Till next week, when we head down south to Alabama for Talledega.
