The 2025 Hollywood Casino 400 at Kansas Speedway

There was a time when I said Kansas was boring, what the heck was wrong with me. Thrilling crashes, epic battles, an insane finish, and even a little driver-owner conflict. Anyways, lets jump in.

The first caution occurred on lap 55 when the number 51 Rick Ware Racing car of Cody Ware had an incident where he had a problem with his tire, and made pretty good contact with the wall. He came into his pits and gave the car to his team, but they ended up having to put him on the wrecker and tow him behind the wall.

There was chaos on lap 216, where we had just had a restart, and a huge crash occurred. It looked like Noah Gragson made contact with Joey Logano, sending the 4 back down the track and into Austin Cindric, spinning the 2 out of control. This collected many other drivers as well.

In overtime, the leaders were about to make it to the white flag, but instead they saw yellow. John Hunter Nemechek hit Zane Smith and he went into the wall, but then Smith went up on the wall, and he rode on his side through turn 4 berfore doing a couple flips and coming to a rest.

With one lap to go, Bubba Wallace was leading the Hollywood Casino 400, but Denny Hamlin was gaining. He was able to get right up next to his driver, and he forced him up the track. The thing about this is they both lost momentum, allowing the 9 car of Chase Elliott to sneak by and take home the trophy in The Wheat State.

What a thrilling race! And the best is yet to come with the last road course, the Charlotte Roval. This is one of those instances were you do not want to be on the cutline at this race. Well then, tune in next time for the Bank of America Roval 400.
