We've been able to narrow down the championship field to four drivers to compete for the title in this race, and those four are: Chase Briscoe, Denny Hamlin, Kyle Larson, and William Byron. We can all agree that it was a chaotic battle for glory in the desert, the story of how it all happened is currently on your screen.

After making a pass on fellow championship contender Denny Hamlin, William Byron won stage 1 after a positive start to his championship race and coming off of a race win in Martinsville.
An incident occurred on lap 72 when John Hunter Nemechek spun his Toyota on the backstretch. It appeared he had made contact with another car, and that sent the no. 42 spinning across the asphalt. Fortunetely, Nemechek recieved no damage from the incident.
The yellow flag flew when Shane Van Gisbergen spun on the frontstretch, but that wasn't what really shook things up. After viewing the 88, the camera shifted to display Chamionship 4 driver Chase Briscoe driving around the track-with a shredded tire.
On lap 214, championship chaos was in motion. Kyle Larson had a flat tire, but made it down pit road before there was any need for a caution, but he might be able to make a comeback. Then, for the second time, Briscoe had a flat tire, yet none of those were enough to cause a yellow.
Lap 309: We're in overtime. William Byron (Champ 4) has a shredded tire.
Pit stops, pit stops, pit stops. Now more are occurring, and the championship is on the line. After a two tire stop for Kyle Larson, he would come out first over Denny Hamlin, who got four fresh tires.
One overtime, one champion. Kyle Larson completely shot out of a cannon in turn 1, an ended up third towards the end of the race. Denny Hamlin is making up ground though, and was side-by-side with Larson at one point, but remember that thing about Larson making a comeback? Yeah, he made a comeback alright.
Well, I'm done writing articles for the season, so I don't have a lot to put here. Comment below or make a topic on the forum if there's any other things you want me to do. Anyways, happy driving, people.
