Seriously, what is with NASCAR and road courses? They used to only 2 races on the road and now they've extended it to 6. Luckily, next week is Dover, thank god. It was a pretty entertaining race though. Well, on to the article.
The first caution for an incident was when Ryan Blaney shoved into the dirt by Chris Buescher, and ended up stuck on a hill. Coming into turn 1, the 17 made contact with Blaney, sending him off track. After that incident, Bubba Wallace and Denny Hamlin spun at the top of the hill.
On lap 100, the field stacked up in turn 7, creating chaos. Erik Jones spun, Ryan Preece suffered minor fender damage, and Noah Gragson recieved major nose damage.
Ricky Stehouse Jr. spun on lap 104 in the esses. He slammed the tire barrier as well, and it was surprising that they didn't throw a red flag. That tire barrier was probably messed up.
With one lap to go in wine country, SVG had been dominating, and no one was catching up to him. Once again, he won the race.
Well, like I said earlier, we are done with road courses. Also, I feel like Sonoma looked very different since the last time we came here. Probably just me. Anyways, Dover is coming up, so I'm looking foward to that.
